I want to take a moment to get grounded in our thoughts and feelings so that we can come to a place of reflection, healing, and love. The world has been a very complicated place lately, especially right now.
The Coronavirus has been consuming our minds with fear and worry, and the news and media have run with it. We’re still figuring out how to open up America again, and 4o million people are still unemployed. And in the midst of this, protests and the fight for racial justice are surging. People everywhere are speaking up about racial injustice – we are living in historic times.
A lot is happening right now, no doubt. I want to remind you of the importance of self-care โ especially at this moment. Most of you are probably not taking care of yourself enough. You’re not taking care of your mind, your heart, and your well-being.
It’s extremely important that we are actively involved in what’s going on in the world right now โ fighting for equality and amplifying the voices that need to be heard. During this time, we also need to take care of our mental, physical, and emotional health.
